Town Hall Meeting & Citizan's Forum

The February 5^th town hall meeting with Sen. Wiger, Congresswoman Betty McCollum, Rep. Leon Lillie and Rep. Nora Slawik will now be held at the Maplewood City Hall- Council Chambers from 9:30am to 10:30am.  The location was changed to accommodate those who wish to attend Mayor Rossbach's Citizen's Forum at Maplewood City Hall at 10:30am on Saturday, Feb. 5. Maplewood City Hall is located at 1830 County Road B East.   Anyone interested in discussing the 2011 Legislative Session is welcome and encouraged to join them.

Wiger's office (296-6820), his home phone (770-0283), send him an email (sen.chuck.wiger@senate.mn), write a letter (117 State Office building, St. Paul, MN 55155) and of course, you can visit his office in the State Office Building.  Throughout session, you can keep in touch with everything happening at the Capitol through the Senate's website (www.senate.leg.state.mn.us).  The site will give you access to Senator profiles, bill logs, committee schedules and much more.  

SD55 Central Committee Meeting set for 1/26/11

Our next Central Committee meeting is set for January 26, 2011 at 7 p.m. at the Sheet Metal Workers Union Hall - 1681 East Cope Maplewood. Here, we will have a short business meeting then our delegation will talk about key issues at the Capitol this session. Following the meeting we will be socializing at Gulden's on Hwy 61 in Maplewood. See you there!
